Support Wounded Warrior Project

SAWC Spring/WHS SUPPORTS THE WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT

The Symposium on Advanced Wound Care Spring (SAWC Spring) and Wound Healing Society
(WHS) annual meeting announced plans to help raise money to assist service members who have been injured in the line of duty. All proceeds from the SAWC “Gives Back” Program will be donated to the nonprofit organization Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), and will support a full range of programs and services for this generation of injured veterans and their families.

The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is to honor and empower wounded
warriors. WWP’s purpose is to raise awareness and to enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured servicemen and women aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.
